NBRACER 5th General Assembly in Denmark, 7–9 October 2025
October 7 – 8h00 – October 9 – 17h00

The NBRACER consortium is delighted to announce its 5th General Assembly, taking place from 7–9 October 2025 at Klimatorium, Lemvig, Denmark. This gathering will bring together partners, stakeholders, and experts to advance our shared mission of strengthening climate resilience in the Atlantic regions through Nature-based Solutions.
A Three-Day Programme
The GA will open with registration and a warm welcome at Klimatorium HQs, followed by project updates and a Transformative Capacity Analysis workshop, and a focus on regional monitoring strategies and portfolio development. The day will close with plenary reflections and an exhibition of regional posters.
The second day will include site visits across West Jutland, exploring real-world applications of NbS and innovative climate solutions. Highlights include visits to water retention projects, constructed wetlands, coastal protection sites, and renewable energy facilities. The Danish Coastal Directorate will also share insights on their leading role in coastal management. The day concludes with a consortium dinner, strengthening collaboration among partners.
The final day returns to Klimatorium for discussions on modelling and mapping, reflections on regional workshops, and a focus on future priorities. Guidance from the External Advisory Board will help shape NBRACER’s next steps, ensuring strong impact and alignment with regional needs.
Why This Matters
This GA is not only a chance to review progress but also an opportunity to learn directly from Denmark’s pioneering work in climate adaptation. By combining technical expertise, regional knowledge, and site-based learning, NBRACER continues to pave the way for innovative solutions that safeguard communities and ecosystems.
NBRACER looks forward to three days of knowledge-sharing, collaboration, and inspiration in Lemvig and to continuing our journey toward resilient Atlantic regions.
