January 2025 – To enhance climate resilience in agriculture, NBRACER commissioned an agricultural guidance study to support Nature-based Solutions (NbS) in the Flemish Ardennes. This study focused on evaluating the impact of green-blue techniques, such as agroforestry, buffer strips, and water retention measures, within agricultural landscapes.
A key part of the study was an in-depth impact analysis, assessing how these techniques improve soil health, water management, and biodiversity. The findings provided farmers with valuable, evidence-based insights, helping them integrate sustainable practices into their operations.
By facilitating this study, NBRACER played a crucial role in equipping farmers with practical tools to implement environmentally friendly solutions. The initiative contributed to a more resilient and sustainable agricultural system in the Flemish Ardennes.
