An immersive two-day NBRACER visit in Fryslân (April 22–23) highlighted how combining data, local knowledge, and community engagement strengthens Nature-based Solutions. Through exchanges in Leeuwarden and a field visit to Noard-Fryslân Bûtendyks, partners explored climate challenges, shared tools and initiatives, and reflected on how NbS can be embedded into governance and practice. A key takeaway was the power of mienskip, collective ownership and collaboration, as a foundation for lasting climate resilience across landscapes.
