From October 6 to October 9 2025, the NBRACER consortium convened in Lemvig, Denmark, for its annual General Assembly, hosted by Klimatorium – Danmarks Internationale Klimacenter. Over three days, partners, researchers, and regional stakeholders from across Europe gathered to exchange experiences, explore local innovations, and discuss how to translate knowledge into tangible regional impact.

The event combined inspiring plenary sessions with hands-on visits to Danish climate resilience sites, offering valuable insights into how Nature-based Solutions (NbS) can strengthen regional adaptation and sustainable development. Participants also reflected on key learnings from NBRACER’s pilots and demos,a storytelling contest hosted by Klimatorium that invited participants aged 18–29 to share their visions of climate resilience, adaptation, and hope through art, writing, and multimedia. The winning entries were presented during the Assembly and highlighted powerful personal perspectives and reminded all participants that innovation begins with imagination and engagement.

Bringing together science, policy, and practice, the General Assembly highlighted the strength of collaboration in addressing shared environmental challenges and shaping Europe’s path towards resilience.

Following the event, NBRACER has released an official press statement summarising the discussions, outcomes, and collective vision that emerged in Lemvig.
