The Land4Climate Mid-Term Forum, held on 6 October 2025 at RWTH Aachen University, brought together participants from research, policy, and practice to exchange lessons learned across the NBS4EU sister projects (Land4Climate, ARCADIA, CARDIMED, DesirRMED, MountResilience, Natalie and NBRACER ) and explore how these insights can support the EU Mission on Climate-Resilient Regions.

Hosted by TU Dortmund University, the forum served as a joint platform for the seven Horizon Europe projects collaborating within the NBS4EU cluster, with a strong focus on linking research on nature-based solutions (NbS) with policy development and practical implementation.

Alongside the plenary sessions, the forum included a poster exhibition that enabled informal dialogue and peer learning. NBRACER contributed to the poster exhibition, presenting its work and engaging with other projects and stakeholders on challenges, methodologies, and opportunities for advancing NBS across European regions.

The Mid-Term Forum highlighted the importance of knowledge sharing and collective learning across projects. By connecting researchers, regional partners, and policy-makers, the event strengthened cooperation and laid the foundation for future joint actions within the NBS4EU cluster. Building on the outcomes of the discussions, the organizing team will prepare a discussion paper summarizing key insights, challenges, and policy recommendations. The paper will be published in the coming months and made available through the Land4Climate website and the wider NBS4EU network.
